Since being established by our founding partners, we have been unified by a common purpose to be a leader in health care, research translation, translational research and education in Northern Australia and across the region.
In 2022, our collaboration, then known as Top End Academic Health Partners (Top End Partners) was accredited as a Research Translation Centre by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). Accreditation recognises our leading role in delivering research excellence for the benefit of the people and communities of the Top End. Today, we are one of 12 accredited Centres in Australia, five of which have a regional, rural or remote focus, and seven of which have a metropolitan or state-wide focus.
